Built Dakota tough, this single 72V (volt) 55Ah (amp hour) battery will power your passions from morning to night. Engineered with Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) technology this battery has three times the power, one third the weight, and lasts 8 times longer than a set of lead acid batteries – providing exceptional lifetime value. Built as a drop in replacement for 72V electric vehicles, 72V golf carts, and 72V electric outboard motors. The exceptional energy density makes this an excellent choice for vehicles where weight is at a premium — one single 72V 55Ah Dakota Lithium battery weighs 1/5 as much as a set of lead acid batteries. Enjoy increased performance, speed, and handling for 72V golf carts, people movers, and neighborhood electric vehicles. 72V LiFePO4 battery charger is recommended (Sold Separate).

To increase your driving range link multiple units in parallel. For vehicles with higher amp motor controllers two or more batteries may be required. For motor controllers with 100A-250A two units are recommended. Motor controllers with 250A-350A three units are recommended. For example, an EZGO 72V Freedom has a 350A motor controller and requires 3 units in parallel. Most 72V golf carts can fit 3+ units in the battery compartment. For other electric vehicles measure the size of your battery compartment and compare to the length and width of the battery.

Storage Capacity: 55 ampere hours (Ah). Dakota Lithium batteries provide consistent power for all 55 ampere hours. DL LiFePO4 batteries have a flat voltage curve, which means they have a steady power output as the battery discharges. The power output will not dramatically drop like similar sized SLA batteries. You get all the juice down to the last drop.

Operating temperature: Ideal for rugged & harsh environments. Much better than SLA or other lithium’s. -20'F min, +120'F max optimal operating temps (battery performs well down to -20'F). Avoid charging below 32'F.
Discharge: 60A max continuous, 120A max 30-second pulse. For motor controllers with 100A-250A two units are recommended. 250A-350A three units are recommended.
Charge: 30A max, 86.4V max recommended.
Includes active BMS protection: Contains a circuit that handles cell balancing, low voltage cutoff, high voltage cutoff, short circuit protection and high temperature protection for increased performance and longer life.

Exactly What Every Angler Needs

Powering my dash four large fish locators live well before this install lead acid battery would start shutting down one after the other by 2 pm had to stop fishing, now with the lithium I have been out 3 times and the battery is still showing 13.54 volts how can that be ? Added a 24 volt lithium to my trolling motor. Out standing performance 11 year warranty less than 20 lbs. They call me the Bass Hunter that I am on the hunt day after day. No bull.

I have a 16' lund. The weight reduction due to getting this battery increased my top spread by 1/2 mph. When using the trolling motor at Lake Champlain it lasted all day with out the loss of power that I have experienced when using traditional batteries. As my son would say "Game Changer".

Now Running Strong at 13.3 Volts!

Customer service is very helpful. I am powering my Garmin 126SV and black box only to this battery. Its good to see 13.3 volts on my screen and not having to worry about the voltage on my cranking battery. Before my voltage would get down to 11.4 volts andi would have to start my engine to charge my cranking battery. Has to be hard on the starter and the charging system on the motor. No more worrys of that today.
