Have a Question?

When will you be doing testing for colder temps as most of the country gets below 32 degrees at some pooint during the year. My main purpose of the generator is heat for my house in cold weather.

Hi Kevin,

We spoke with the tech support at Nature's Generator, and unfortunately, they do not foresee that they will be doing any testing for that low of temperature, but they will see if their factory has any data on the battery performance below 32 degrees. Once we receive that information, we will relay it to you.

Also, in all honesty, if you use the Nature's Generator for heaters, it will drain the battery pretty rapidly, as heaters do require a lot of wattage / power to operate. Let us know if you have any other questions.
Does this come with the 100’ cable and control box?

This unit does not come with the control box or the cable. If you need those accessories, we can contact Nature's Generator and add them into your order. Please let us know if you would like to proceed and we can take care of that for you and send you an invoice with all the pricing for your review.
I see the operating temp. only goes down to around 30 degrees F. We get -30 up here in ND. Will this damage the unit.

Hello,

We do not see any issue with the Wind Turbine getting damaged in -30 degree weather. As long as moisture doesn’t precede this type of temperature, I can’t see why it wouldn’t continue to work. If moisture does get into the parts, it could freeze and not charge, but it shouldn't damage the unit. This unit has not been tested in these types of weather conditions, so unfortuately Natures Generator does not have a definate answer for you. Let us know if you should have any other questions.

Propane heater

Is a small propane heater. It works pretty good for a small cabin , RV etc. Dont need electricity. Just a small propane tank. Dont consume alot . A small tank will last about 3 day if you run it at full capacity though the night. No propane small, no carbon monoxide. It has a vent for the out side. But this 8 thousand btu is not for a whole house heat.

We had a complicated set of requirements. The ThinkTank and helpful folks at Tiny House Essentials resolved our conundrum. The ThinkTank just arrived, but we won't install it until late next month.
