The Zamp Solar 180W Portable Solar Kit is the most popular larger portable solar kit in the Zamp Solar line. This kit will generate 180 Watts at 10 Amps and comes included with an integrated 5 Stage 15 Amp waterproof solar charge controller to ensure your 12V system is protected.

The Solar Panel is hand crafted in Bend, OR and utilizes top-of-the-line Grade A monocrystalline solar cells which feature an anti-reflective coated glass for maximum light absorption, providing high efficiency output throughout the day.

With a redesigned Omni-Mount, anodized, aluminum frame, you can say goodbye to predrilled mounting holes. This newly designed frame is sturdier and more versatile than the traditional frames. The outer panel edges are significantly hardened in an electrochemical process to create a barrier against natures elements.

Wiring your system is simple with the included 15 foot SAE positive and negative lead that comes complete with alligator clips to connect directly to the battery, or a simple quick connect plug and is compatible with all Zamp Solar sidewall ports. Easily view the large digital display to monitor volts, and amps in real time as well as amps over a period of time.

180 watt suitcase solar unit

Love this thing and have it for a year, Went boondocking in Wyoming and New York when the roofmount was shaded and was able to place the suitcase unit in the sun to keep the batteries charged.
A must have is the extention cable, this unit is a little heavy but worth it.

TinyHouse had my solar panel promptly drop shipped directly from Zamp. This was perfect in my opinion as it provides for proper packing, less travel time for the item (going from manufacturer to the retailer and then to the customer). Item arrived in good condition, minus a couple of loose bolts probably due to vibration in transit. I contacted Zamp with one question about the panel which they answered to my satisfaction. Used to charge the 2 6 volt batteries in my RV and it worked flawlessly. TinyHouse has my business now for future orders. Thanks guys.

We have a 2020 ForestRiver VIBE with a solor port We also have a 180 W Zamp The plugs don’t match What to do?

Hello,

Is the port on the RV a Furrion Port? If so, you would need the Furrion Adaptor from Zamp Solar. If you are not sure, it should say Furrion on the side of the RV near the port. Here is the link to the Zamp site for your reference. https://www.zampsolar.com/furrion-adapter

Propane heater

Is a small propane heater. It works pretty good for a small cabin , RV etc. Dont need electricity. Just a small propane tank. Dont consume alot . A small tank will last about 3 day if you run it at full capacity though the night. No propane small, no carbon monoxide. It has a vent for the out side. But this 8 thousand btu is not for a whole house heat.

We had a complicated set of requirements. The ThinkTank and helpful folks at Tiny House Essentials resolved our conundrum. The ThinkTank just arrived, but we won't install it until late next month. Cabin building in remote areas takes time, after all. If possible, I'll submit an addition to this review (with pics) after we get it installed and use it for a month or so! :-)
