You can switch over to using 12 volt or non-electric toilets by using the Sun-Mar AC/DC Conversion kit. Take advantage of the comfort of using your composting toilet when there is no electricity available or only 12 volt DC electricity.

This kit can only be used with the Excel, Centrex 1000, Centrex 2000 and Centrex 3000 (both Waterless and Ultra low flush systems).

Included with your Kit:

12 volt 2.4watt Fan
4" Vent Stack and connectors
1" Drain Assembly

Kit helps facilitate airflow when in non-electric mode to increase the evaporation of liquids, and allow excess liquids to drain safely away.

Propane heater

Is a small propane heater. It works pretty good for a small cabin , RV etc. Dont need electricity. Just a small propane tank. Dont consume alot . A small tank will last about 3 day if you run it at full capacity though the night. No propane small, no carbon monoxide. It has a vent for the out side. But this 8 thousand btu is not for a whole house heat.

We had a complicated set of requirements. The ThinkTank and helpful folks at Tiny House Essentials resolved our conundrum. The ThinkTank just arrived, but we won't install it until late next month. Cabin building in remote areas takes time, after all. If possible, I'll submit an addition to this review (with pics) after we get it installed and use it for a month or so! :-)
